MassGov Tourism Department will spend $925,000 advertising in UK, Italy, Germany and France.

Message to the World

Residents in the United Kingdom can expect to see $400,000 in advertising and marketing collateral describing Massachusetts as the premier worldwide destination for tourism in fiscal year 2014.

Those in Germany will be flooded with $250,000 of pro-Massachusetts messages.  The French and Italian major markets will absorb $150,000 and $125,000 respectively  in advertising messages and marketing spend during the same period.

MOTT or the Massachusetts Office for Travel and Tourism has set aside these funds from a total $1.9 million in maximum allocated dollars to be dispersed to appropriate advertising and marketing vendors who service those markets.

The spend is allocated for the contract year July 1, 2013 thru June 30, 2014.

10 days to Christmas and …

…  prospect from Ireland called in.

She’s coming to Boston with a friend.

Made arrangements to provide her a private car and chauffeur for 8 hours to go anywhere she wanted.

She had planned for a pickup at Logan Airport and a trip out to Wrentham Mall, stopping any and everywhere she wanted along the way.

And the next day it was  back to Logan Airport.

Much love shopping sprees like this and just in time for Christmas, of course.

Boston’s first 2012 snow is here. Peekaboo!

Good morning snow
so happy to see you
resorts are happy
people will ski.

some are holiday shopping
and uniting around food
all around Boston
and the burbs.

Taxis drivers wait nervously
hoping to fill faster than ever,
while sipping a cup of Dunkin.

While the town car livery pool
is confidently booking customers
for a spin around town.
